Minna Fu, age 15, is a resident of Pleasanton, California. She began playing the piano at age 5 and started giving annual piano recitals at the age of 9. At 10, Minna obtained her first performance diploma, Associate of Royal Schools of Music with distinction. At 12 she obtained the Diploma of Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, and in 2022 she obtained a performance diploma of Licentiate of Royal Schools of Music with distinction. Minna has performed at music festivals, graduations, church fundraisers, and senior centers. She served as a choir accompanist at Thomas Hart Middle School for 3 years. She also plays piano on her own YouTube channel for her fans to view worldwide. Currently, Minna is the youngest docent of the nonprofit Music for Minors II, where she volunteers to give music lessons to elementary children every week. After winning the Livermore-Amador Symphony Competition for Young Musicians in 2022, Minna was invited to perform with the Symphony as a soloist at the Bankhead Theater. She also won the Los Angeles International Liszt Competition, the United States Open Music Competition, the Sergey Rachmaninoff International Youth Piano Competition, the Russian Souvenir Piano Competition, the Glissando International Youth Piano Competition, the United States International Music Competition, the Sylvia M. Ghiglieri Piano Competition, Future Stars International Piano Competition, Chopin International Piano Competition in Hartford, Hart Husky Music Award, and the American Protégé Music Competitions. In 2019, Minna was invited to perform at the Carnegie Weill Recital Hall.
